My name is Susan Gallagher. I am the founder of China Coast. Asian Studies and Chinese language, literature and art were my areas of formal study for 6 years. I lived in Asia for 7 years and have spent more than 20 years in the US as an importer and wholesaler. I travel to China about 3 times each year in search of wonderful antiques for our business. Each of our items is personally selected. Michael, my husband, and I run China Coast together. Now we have the exciting opportunity to welcome you to our warehouse either in person or via the internet.

The furniture and home accessories in our warehouse are primarily Chinese antiques from the late 18th and 19th centuries. Many of them are “provincial” pieces, meaning that they come from the countryside or from towns and cities removed from the capital. These pieces, commissioned by a growing merchant class and made by local artisans, are often unique and always charming. Each has its own story to tell.

Both retail buyers and resellers are welcome in our warehouse. We love to show you our latest finds. In addition to furniture we have porcelain, paintings, textiles, religious figures, snuff bottles, jade and other artifacts and collectors items. Please visit!
