A graceful female figure adorns the carved back splat of this horseshoe armchair. The skirt is also delicately carved. The chair comes from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province, the city that Marco Polo loved. It was made around 1900 and sometime after that was painted a brown color. This piece is certain to add character to any room.
