What a find! This very large mud figure measures 37” in height. He was crafted in Shan Xi province in 1700. He is a financial deity as evidenced by the gold ingot that he holds in his hands. We believe him to be Ch’ao Kung Ming, originally a mortal, who rose to the position of Lu Hsing, the Star God of High Rank. He is worshipped under the name Lu Hsing in family shrines.
