These tiny Chinese shoes have been well worn . They come from the countryside of Western China and are composed of both silk and cotton. The toes are worn and a there’s a little mud on the heels. Imagine having not only bound feet but also to try to get around on them in less than pristine territory. These hand made shoes were probably made in the early 20 th century.
