Embroidered silk brocade skirts such as this one were worn by Chinese women in the 19 th century. The beautiful embroidery in the front panel echoes the design in the silk brocade. The back panel of the wrap around skirt is a mirror of the front. This skirt has lost its silk lining. We have several other skirts in our warehouse in different colors.
