Double Happiness vases never lose their appeal, and we try to keep a number in stock at all times. These are about 17” high. They were produced in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province in about 1880. The ‘double happiness’ symbol was used during marriage celebrations. . It is a written symbol that is not used in conversation. These vases were probably given as a wedding present in the 19 th century.
