This small, brightly painted trunk features a feisty Fu Dog, or lion-dog. The trunk was probably used to hold a child’s belongings. It was made in China’s Shan Xi province around 1850. It has been restored. The box measures 18.9” wide x 13” high x 12.5” deep.
